Marcie Friedman, CEO
Marcie is the owner of Complete Therapies L.L.C and the parent-sister company of Southwestern Music Therapy. Her educational background is from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Music degree with an emphasis in voice, awarded in 2001. Her studies continued in Music Therapy by becoming a certified Neurological Music Therapist by undergoing mentorship with Dr. Michael Thaut. This certification is very rare as only a small percentage of Music Therapists have been able to attain this designation.
Marcie has practiced Music Therapy for more than 18 years in a variety of treatment locations, settings, and in the special needs population. Her skills are highly flexible to accommodate all levels of disabilities. With a majority of Marcie’s clients being on the autism spectrum, she is considered a specialist in this field. Marcie continues to bring education to the public by providing live music therapy sessions, giving in-person talks and services regarding the exponential benefits and proven results of Music Therapy.
